Missions vary from slaying a certain Oni to finding items within the Ages. While exploring, you may come across various NPCs and they'll have missions for you. If you wish to search for all the collectibles now, make use of the maps provided below in order to locate all of them.

You need to purify the prayer stones within the Age in question in order to explore all of it.

The Oni in the open-world are capped at normal difficulty. Upon completion of chapter 6, you'll reach post-game exploration which will allow you to complete missions, farm mitama, etc, so nothing can be missed.Īfter entering post-game, I'd recommend exploring the Ages and Surrounds. You'll be prompted to go to a certain area or talk to certain slayer in order to trigger story missions. Each chapter will be triggered by events unfolding within the story. There are seven chapters within Toukiden 2. Step 1: Complete the story chapters until post-game and explore the Ages in order to purify them and pick up shiny items:ĭon't think too much about trophies at this step. You will commonly find Anomalos within The Age of Chaos.
#Toukiden 2 weapons to get upgrade
If you forged the Normal-class Anomalos armour, you can upgrade that armour set to the Expert-class set which I'd recommend due to the amount of rare drops needed to create it from scratch. If you find yourself having trouble on Expert Mode, try hunting Expert-class Anomalos for their materials. These Oni will have mitama inside of them and are commonly found within areas with a lot of miasma. If so, then go and pick them up, then returning to the village to complete some missions. I'd recommend that you develop a system such as completing a couple of missions then going to an Age and see if all the drops have respawned. Items in the Ages and Surrounds will take a while to respawn. Go in and out of the Eye of Truth in order to find any other hidden shiny items you can pick up. Shiny items are now marked on your world map by green dots. Especially regarding Age-dependent items which will be necessary for Marionette upgrades. Pick up every shiny item you see to save yourself some headache later on. You will often earn Sacred Branches if you save slayers. Distress calls are marked on your map with a Slayer Emblem. If you see a distress call from a slayer while exploring the open-world, go and help them. It's a fairly expensive and you don't want to buy a majority of one weapon then decide you'd rather use another weapon. Keep in mind the trophy that requires you to buy 100 weapons of one category. You'll need a lot of materials to create weapons, upgrade them, create armour and upgrade armour. Try to break every part off every Oni you come across. Expert mode allows a total of 3 retreats so use them wisely. If you fall in battle and your allies don't get you up in time, then you have lost the battle.
